GGC2 event ‘Getting Research to Action- How can we get the latest research into the hands of practitioners so they can put Locally Led Adaptation into Action’
Putting the Locally Led Adaptation principles at the heart of domestic adaptation policies and programmes is a major objective for the adaptation community. At the same time, Community Based Approaches that incorporate LLA continue to seek opportunities to scale up while sharing their learning with governments and other stakeholders. Research has an important role to play in seeing LLA applied in practice and at scale while incorporating evidence and good practice. This session will explore how we can ensure that practitioners working on the frontline of climate action – from grassroots to government level – can access the latest research, knowledge and understanding on LLA.
This event is organised by IIED and ARA- CBAARA.
