Grassroots Women’s Caucus
The grassroots caucuses will provide space for leaders representing rural, urban and indigenous women’s organizations to:
- set a vision for what they want to achieve at & beyond the GEF Mexico Forum;
- meet, associate and find common ground with their peers;
- get help to decide what to attend and how to represent their group’s priorities; and
- give feedback on the positives and challenges of contributing and networking at the Forum
Participating leaders of locally rooted organizations can also contribute to a grassroots political declaration that will be circulated at conclusion of the Forum.
Both the pre-Forum caucus and the Tuesday session will be hosted through Huairou Commissions zoom link and require pre-registration by sending name of participant and organization to GRWcaucus_Mex@huairou.org
Spanish translation will be provided.
The caucus will take place 11:30AM-1:30PM CST/ 1:30PM-3PM EST.
